Since Sept 2005 I have worked as senior consultant Obstetrics Gynecology, Khoula Hospital, Muscat, Oman. I am taking part in teaching and academic activities of Sultan Qaboos Medical college students as Senior Clinical Lecturer. I am also senior trainer of OMSB residency program. Since 2005 I am Deputy Head of Department of OBGYN Khoula Hospital. From 17/Sept /2008 I am serving as Head of Gynaecology unit Khoula Hospital.

I have Diploma in Minimal access surgery from World association of laparoscopic Surgeons 2007.

I have also completed the Diploma Obstetrics and Gynaecology Burwin Institute, Canada 2009.

I have completed Executive MBA course from Hull University UK 2011.

During these years I have acquired vast experience as a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician and tried to advance my knowledge and experience by attending workshops and courses nationally and internationally to serve the patients in the best of my ability, and to share my knowledge with my colleagues and students.

I am trying to increase the laparoscopic gynaecologic procedures where indicated and possible in Khoula hospital, as it is more beneficial to patients and more cost effective for ministry of health and Government of Oman as patients are well aware of benefits of laparoscopic surgery and many of them go to other countries seeking for treatment.
