Since 2002 I have been working in many Hospitals in Nigeria as; Senior Medical Officer, Medical Director and Deputy Director (Hospitals) at District Health Systems Board. In 2006, I was assigned by the Federal Government of Nigeria to serve as a Medical Volunteer in the Republic of Mozambique, a programme I served for two years and worked at both urban and rural Mozambique. In 2008 I joined Family Health International 360 Washington, as an Expatriate Senior Technical Officer Clinical Services and Technical Team leader in a HIV/AIDS Treatment, Care and Support Project in the areas of, PMTCT, Family Planning/Reproductive Health,TB/HIV, Home Based Care (HBC) including Palliative Care, Community mobilization, Community TB DOTS, care for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) ,Health Systems Strengthening and closely working with community and faith based organizations and associations of PLWH. Lead a team for successful implementation of the above project which its success lead to approval by the USAID of a 5 year fully funded project .I am fully involved and used to projects design/planning, execution, management, monitoring and evaluation. I have a strong interest in Sexual and Reproductive Health especially PF/RH in HIV and other cross cutting issues. I have attended various trainings, conferences, summits and workshops at national, regional and international levels. I am optimistic that I will learn a lot from co-participants and the conveners of this course.
