I have been managing the component of the MoHP/GIZ Health Sector Support Programme that focuses on promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people for five years. Prior to my current assignment, I worked as a drug demand reduction expert in GIZ head office in Germany for three and a half years and before that in the field of drug misuse prevention for young people at the Mentor Foundation based in London. I worked on short-term consultancies in Afghanistan, Vietnam, Pakistan and Laos and my technical competencies include sexual and reproductive health and rights, HIV prevention and mainstreaming, youth health and health promotion and health systems strengthening. My interest lies in health program evaluation, health sector reform processes and innovative health promotion interventions.
