Lebogang Schultz joined path in May as the District Project Manager for Nkangala district. Lebogang had her professional training as a registered nurse qualified in general nursing, midwifery, psychiatric nursing and community nursing. She further qualifies with a B-Tech degree in advanced community nursing at Tshwane University of Technology. She is currently completing her studies in Masters in Public Health with the University of South Africa.

After qualifying as a nurse she began her career at a PHC clinic as a community health care nurse proving curative, psychiatry, maternal and child health services. She proceeded to work at South African National blood services as a phlebotomist later as a Training officer. She joined ECHO (Enhancing Children’s Outcomes) as a nurse clinicians providing clinical care to HIV infected children, then later with the same organization as a pediatric HIV nurse trainer.

She joined ICAP (International Centre for Aids Care and Treatment Programs) as a Technical Advisor for the PMTCT program tasked with the designing and the implementation of the ICAP PMTCT program supporting the Eastern Cape, KZN. She then joined CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) as a Public Health Specialist tasked with overseeing CDC partners prior joining PATH.

She has formed extensive relationships with NDOH and provinces where she has assisted the implementation of programs and she served in the national PMTCT and pediatric CCMT working group.

She is very analytical, detailed, hard working but also loves fashion, music and reading.
