I have successfully completed my graduation in Public Health in 2010 and currently working as the DACC Coordinator in Lalitpur District. As a DACC Coordinator, I am responsible for coordinating with NGOs/INGOs and key stakeholders working in the field of reproductive health and HIV/AIDS; and further work as a resource person in training, research and field implementation of HIV/AIDS programmes on behalf of the Government of Nepal in the Lalitpur District.

Before the current position as the DACC Coordinator, I have worked in different capacities as Programme associate, Program Officer and Research coordinator in Group for Technical Assistance (GTA), a non-governmental organization working in the field of research, communication campaign, organization development and programme implementation.

From May to November 2012, I took the online Training Course in Sexual and Reproductive Health Research by the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research. As a part of my research project proposal, I worked on the assessment of the high risk sexual behavior on Men who have sex with other Men in Kathmandu valley and participated in the intensive training workshop on September 2013 in WHO, Geneva.

Areas of Interest

Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS and STIs, Health Research especially sexual health, Health education and Health promotion.
