My name is Yeshewas Abera Eneyew and I was born on the 4th of December 1985 in Gondar, Ethiopia. I graduated from Hawassa University (formerly known as Debub University), Ethiopia, in July 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After my graduation I worked as a nurse for four years at Enat Hospital. During my time at the hospital I held different positions, such as OPD team coordinator, ART and PMTCT focal person, mother support group site coordinator, clinical instructor and supervisor of nursing students who came to the hospital from different Health Colleges, and I was the hospital resource person for various meetings and workshops, representing the hospital. Parallel to my regular job, I worked in local NGOs, namely Birhan Integrated Community Development (BICDO) as a project officer and project coordinator. Currently I am working as an instructor at Othoniel College in Gondar, and I am also a second-year MPH-RH student in the University of Gondar MPH program. As a partial fulfillment of the required MPH degree, I am working on a thesis which is related to maternal and child health.

In addition to my strong desire and motivation to upgrade my professional carrier, I also have a dream to see improved quality of healthcare services and health outcomes in Ethiopia, particularly in areas of sexual and reproductive health.
