He was the Head of Community Development Service Coordinator in the 2010/2011 National service year. He was saddled with the responsibility of taking care of the health of fellow corps members and that of the community - a rural community with poor access to healthcare services, poor health indices such as high infant and maternal mortality and avoidable deaths from preventable diseases, such as malaria, diarrheal diseases, tetanus, tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS.
