Judith Apondo is a registered nurse/midwife with a master’s degree in Public Health and Health Services Management. She has more than 20 years of health-related field, clinical and training experience in Sub-Saharan Africa. She holds an honors degree in Trauma and Emergency Care, with expertise in training (and training of trainers) in emergency life support skills. She is currently working with UNFPA - South Sudan as a volunteer midwife tutor, and as head of academic affairs at Juba College of Nursing and Midwifery. She is a member of the National Nurses Association of Kenya and Kenyan Midwifery Chapter.
