Born on 20th October 1987, Ashmin completed his Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Pokhara University, Nepal. After the completion of his Bachelor’s degree, he immediately secured an internship position with FHI 360 Nepal. Following this, he joined the District Health Office, Rautahat as District AIDS Coordinator. Having worked extensively in coordinating activities between different stakeholders including government and non-government institutions on the sector of HIV/AIDS, he is also actively involved in implementing various activities related to SRHR in the district on behalf of the Government of Nepal. During his undergraduate studies, he was involved in various research activities as a research assistant. He has been involved in various social organizations and charity activities over the past few years.
