I was born on July 6th 1974. I hold a bachelor degree in Economics from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria (1999). I have demonstrated competencies in programmes on budget tracking, youth development, advocacy, human rights activities and implementing education & health projects on community development at different levels. As a staff member of Sustainable Development Initiative Centre (SUDIC), I became actively involved in community work and volunteerism. I am currently an active member of the Partnership for the Promotion of Maternal and Child Health (PPMCH) in Kano state. The partnership is currently advocating for the passage of a Free Maternal Neonatal and Child Health (FMNCH) Bill and a proven accountable public healthcare system, through its Accountability Mechanisms on MNCH in Kano State (AMMKaS) project.
