Maero Lutta was born on the 15th of November 1984. He graduated from Egerton University with a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery in Kenya in 2008, and Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health in 2013 from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). He is also a Monitoring and Evaluation Associate. Maero worked as residential Clinical Officer from October 2008 to December 2010. He has been serving as Comprehensive HIV Program Officer for Centres for Disease Control and Prevention in Kenya (CDC) funded program in Western Kenya, Chagua Maisha, a consortium of CARE International in Kenya and Merlin International.
Maero has spent most of his time in comprehensive HIV programming and implementation. He has interests in Medicine, Public Health, Epidemiology and Management. He has previously served as volunteer Site Coordinator for an HIV/STD asynchronous online course for the University of Washington.
