My name is Trang Nguyen. I am living in Hanoi, Vietnam, and working as a project officer at a Vietnamese NGO. I graduated from the Hanoi Foreign Trade University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in External Economics. Then in 2011, I acquired an MBA degree at the Smeal College of Business, The Pennsylvania State University.
I started working in the development sector in 2012. Currently, I am coordinating a project to improve maternal and child health of ethnic minorities in the mountainous areas of Vietnam, funded by the Atlantic Philanthropies. I am also working as project assistant in a project in HIV/AIDS funded by USAID. Besides this, my organization conducts a lot of research in public health, especially sexual and reproductive health, so I also have opportunities to participate in such research.
