Dr. Alteib Yousif Abdelgadir Mohamed was born on the 13th of July 1977. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kassala, Sudan in 2004 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. He is currently enrolled in a master’s program in Public and Tropical Health at the University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan, since January 2012 and will finish by December 2013, including the research. He holds Part 1 of a Medical Doctorate in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board (SMSB) since June 2012, and he started the rotation training for Part 2 in January 2013.
He worked as an obstetrics and gynecology medical doctor with the Ministry of Health, Kassala State, Alsuaudi Obstetrics and Gynecology Teaching Hospital, Kassala, from October 2006 to June 2007. From July 2007 to December 2008, he worked as a Medical/Health Coordinator for the Kassala Integrated Health Program, Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS) - Kassala Branch, in partnership with the Netherlands Red Cross (NLRC) and the Canadian Red Cross (CRC).
From January 2009 to December 2010, he worked as a Public Health Manager for the Hamashorieb Integrated Assistances Program, SRCS - Kassala Branch in partnership with NLRC and CRC, funded by the Canadian International Development Agency.
From March 2011 to March 2013, he worked as a Programs Liaison Officer (Health, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS), SRCS/HQ, NLRC and CRC Cooperation Office.
He is currently working at Damazeen Obstetrics and Gynecology Teaching Hospital, Blue Nile State, Sudan, as a Registrar of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
